My dog isnt even mixed with these options!
I got DNA testing for my mutt, and also got this app. Although this app is tons cheaper, it was mostly inaccurate on the breeds. While Dachshund was right, the other two were inaccurate.
So this app is helpful to help me have an idea of what my dogs could be. Since I know for sure that I have a purebred breed, but other dogs I know make me wondering what dog breeds are they!? I used this app on two of them. So the first was a medium Shepherd like dog who is much smaller than my dog. Ears are not up, but not down, one up and one down. Very, very short fur with a fawn and black markings. Small dog high pitch bark. And Im happy with the results. German Shepherd, jack Russell mix. The other one I did, I was also happy with the results. I did not need to do this on my dog because I know he is a purebred. I know this app does not have ALL the dog breeds on here, I mean they cant, so I know its not going to get he exact look of someones dog. So the problem is, when I got a 99c app I thought I would get a little picture at the end. If you change it I will change this to 5 stars! :D
I had been seeing all kinds of Instagram posts about this app & was excited to try it. I have 3 mutts & was lucky enough to meet their mothers. Not 1 of the results from this app even mentions their mothers breeds! App is a great idea, but needs fine tuning & more choices. Im hopeful they improve it as time goes by.
Doesnt have an age option. So it assumed my puppy is a small dog breed because of her weight, when really she isnt heavy yet and is a large breed.
We have a rescue pup and always guessed at what her breed was. This app was spot on! It was crazy. Validated exactly what we thought. Very cool.
Would like to see the tail options include a long, full (but not feathery) straight tail type. As it stands, none of the tail choices really fit my dog, and I chose the least-unlike type. I honk the result was probably very accurate. Good app!
I love all the choices there are and it kind of gives you an idea of what your pet is.
We were always wondering and guessing what breed our dog was and were always told, jack Russell, beagle, lab mix and this appt confirms that!
This was spot on figuring out my mutt Dusty! Worth the 99 cents. Love that it supports dog rescue.
Awesome app! Its short and fun and nailed the three breeds we thought our mutt always was. Half the fun is plugging in different attributes and seeing what you get. For 99 cents, its great fun just to try out on random dogs and mutts around the neighborhood... Also, way more intuitive and nicely designed compared to other apps in this genre.
We have asked our personal vet what they thought our mutt was, so out of curiosity I used the app and got the same results. Plus it was just fun to use.
Loved this. Our dog is a rescue and its pretty close to what the rescue thought he was.
If you are the parents of a school aged child and a mutt, buy this app. The seven steps will lead your child to really look at your mutt and assess its characteristics….such a great teaching tool. So fun to do and you’ll learn all about the different breeds of dogs. Highly recommend.
We always thought she was chihuahua, Jack Russell but didnt think about a Pomeranian. Shes our Honey and we love her that much more!!
This .99 cent app told us the same thing as the DNA test we spent over $60 on! It is fun and easy to use!!
Pointless
I have a thai ridgeback mix, we think mixed with Ibizan hound. The app didnt even cone close. My staffy mix, maybe but not my thai. Wast of .99
Fun app.
Its a great idea but its not very accurate. My dog definitely is part beagle,it was confirmed.I guessed before that he was also part border collie. On this I got Australian cattle dog,German Shepard, and Labrador :/ Not accurate
